OMV Petrom, the largest oil and gas producer in Southeastern Europe, and Auchan Retail România announce the opening of the first MyAuchan store in Petrom Militari filling station, on Iuliu Maniu Blvd., Bucharest.
MyAuchan Militari is the first convenience store opened by Auchan in Romania, especially known for its hypermarkets network. The store is open 24/7 and will function within Petrom filling station on Iuliu Maniu Blvd. It is spread on a 230 square meters area and has been refurbished in line with MyAuchan concept. The store offer includes over 4,300 items, ranging from fresh foods including fruits, vegetables, meat, bakery and pastry baked on the spot, to non-food items and pet food. The store will be aligned on a low price policy, in line with the general discount strategy of Auchan Romania.

The two partners, OMV Petrom and Auchan Retail, have ambitious plans to extend this partnership. By the end of this year, as part of the partnership first phase, the opening of 15 MyAuchan stores is targeted in Petrom filling stations from Bucharest and across the country.
Within the partnership, Auchan defines the concept and the range of products available in stores, while OMV Petrom provides the space and operates the stores through its dealers. The cash registers will be the same for both the fuel and services purchases as well as for the MyAuchan store.
OMV Petrom is the largest integrated oil and gas group in Southeastern Europe, with annual oil and gas production of approximately 64 mn boe in 2016. The Group has a refining capacity of 4.5 mn tonnes / year and operates an 860 MW high-efficiency power plant and a 45 MW wind park.
