Supplier of Last Resort - Natural Gas
OMV Petrom has been designated as a supplier of last resort for natural gas, by decision issued by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE). All documents on this page are in Romanian.
What is the supplier of last resort?
The supplier of last resort ensures the continuity of natural gas supply in situations where the current supplier can no longer meet its contractual obligations (e.g., bankruptcy, contract termination, license withdrawal) or when customers’ contracts expire and no new contract has been signed. This way, consumers are not left without gas and continue to benefit from this essential service without interruption.
Tariffs
Tariffs under the supplier of last resort regime are set according to ANRE regulations and reflect the costs of gas acquisition, transport, distribution, and supply. Presently, FUI prices are set according to Order 110/2022.
