We are one of the largest private investors, taxpayers and employers in Romania. Since 2005, we’ve invested over €20 bn and contributed more than €44 bn to Romania’s state budget. Our operations, investments and supply chains generate long-term value for the country and create and maintain thousands of jobs.

We are a strategic partner for the sustainable development of our communities with projects and investments based on needs identified at local level. Since 2007, corporate responsibility principles have been included into our business strategy.

Between 2007-2024, we have allocated ~€190 mn to develop communities in Romania, focusing on environmental protection, education, health and local development. The projects we lead or support have a positive impact on tens of thousands of Romanians throughout the country.

Launched in 2022, OMV Petrom Foundation is building programs and supporting long-term investments in Romania. Its mission is to connect and develop communities, transforming Romania, while its vision is to contribute decisively to the creation of a sustainable and fair society for all of us. Guided by values such as equity, integrity, responsibility towards society, empathy, the Foundation's long-term partnerships aim to build a better tomorrow for Romania and Romanians.
