Guided by our Strategy 2030, we are investing €11 billion to lead the energy transition in the region, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen Romania’s energy independence. Through our projects, we are not only transforming our business. We are also contributing to a stronger, more sustainable Romania:
Neptun Deep
As the largest natural gas project in the Romanian Black Sea, Neptun Deep will create strong development opportunities and contribute to Romania's energy security and independence. We are investing up to €4 bn, along our partner, ROMGAZ, to bring this strategic project to production phase starting 2027.
Low-emission transportation
We aim to lead the decarbonization of transport in Romania. By developing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (HVO) production at our Petrobrazi refinery and installing over 5,000 EV charging points in the region by 2030, we are delivering on our committment to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector.
Renewable Energy
We are developing the largest portfolio of solar and wind projects in Romania, aiming for over 2.5 GW of installed capacity by 2030. These projects will bring cleaner energy to Romanian homes and businesses and open up new opportunities for sustainable development. By bulding our facilities, acquisitions and partnerships, we aim to become a key player in renewable power, while ensuring grid stability and energy security.
