- The number of MyAuchan convenience stores in Petrom’s network reached almost 400
- Residents in 250 localities across the country and all drivers in transit can refuel and shop in one stop

October 30, 2023 – OMV Petrom and Auchan Retail Romania have completed the nationwide installation of almost 400 MyAuchan convenience stores in Petrom stations. The project was completed one year earlier than initially estimated. The integration of MyAuchan stores was carried out simultaneously with the modernization of Petrom stations.
To mark the completion of the project, between November 1st and 30th, 2023, a promotional campaign for customers will be organized in all Petrom stations with MyAuchan stores, with discounts for food products and consumer products and also a raffle with cash prizes. Every day, 10 prizes worth RON 500 will be drawn.

MyAuchan stores in Petrom stations offer customers a wide range of up to 1,500 essential products for everyday consumption. This includes both immediate consumption and products to be enjoyed at home, fresh and frozen products, drinks, coffee, salty appetizers, sweets, grocery and non-food products such as cosmetics, toys, children's products and car accessories. Moreover, over 70% of the stores also include Costa Coffee dedicated areas, as part of a broad partnership that involves the integration of this concept at national level. In addition to the wide range of products, customers can also benefit from a number of useful services in MyAuchan stores, such as the possibility to pay tolls/bridge and vignettes, money transfer services and utility payments.
About OMV Petrom – Auchan Retail Romania partnership
The cooperation between OMV Petrom and Auchan Retail Romania, a new concept for the Romanian market, began in 2017 with a pilot phase in which MyAuchan convenience stores were opened in Petrom filling stations, both in urban and rural areas in Romania. In this phase, the aim was to test the business model and evaluate the potential of this collaboration.
In February 2019, OMV Petrom and Auchan Retail Romania signed a Memorandum of Understanding to analyze the expansion of the collaboration into a long-term partnership.

Since 2007, OMV Petrom has included corporate responsibility principles into its business strategy. Between 2007 and 2022, the company has allocated around 120 million euro to develop communities in Romania, focusing on environmental protection, education, health, and local development.
On July 29th, 2020, OMV Petrom announced its support for the recommendations issued by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) regarding risks and opportunities on climate change. OMV Petrom annually reports on the progress made in implementing these recommendations.

On www.auchan.ro, Auchan presents cca 60,000 products, customers having the opportunity to take possession of orders placed online, either by picking up from the store - Click&Collect, from the store parking lot - Auchan Drive, or by home delivery via FAN Courier.
Auchan Romania carries out a series of important actions to promote social responsibility activities and integration of young people, as well as programs to protect the environment aimed at managing waste, saving resources, etc. Among the projects that the company carried out are the planting of 100,000 trees through the Mobilizatron project, the production of the film "Untamed Romania", the first documentary about Romania's nature, as well as the setting up of two medical support units for patients with non-critical forms of Covid- 19.
