Petrom has new headquarters

  • Petrom’s headquarters is located in an A class building
  • Ploiesti became Exploration and Production headquarters
  • Petrom’s employees carry out their activities in optimal conditions

Petrom, the largest oil and gas producer in South Eastern Europe, has a new headquarters. Located in 239 Calea Dorobantilor, Petrom’s headquarters has all the facilities required by an A class building.
The lease contract for the new headquarters of the company, concluded in November 2004, is valid for 5 years after which the management will decide on its continuity.
Exploration and Production activities have the headquarters in Ploiesti, 1 A, Eroilor Square. Ploiesti headquartes has a 14,400 square meters surface and benefits of the same modern facilities as the new headquarters in Bucharest.

“The relocation into the new headquarters which reflects dynamism through its design and organization is the visible consequence of the modernization process the company is going through. The efficiency of all activities is determined by the carry on conditions, and in this moment Petrom’s employees benefit from the best working conditions”, said mr. Gheorghe Constantinescu, CEO of Petrom.
The Managing Committee members and departments such as Corporate Communications, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, Human Resources, Corporate Development, Legal, Risk Management, Treasury, Internal Audit, Finance and Services, Controlling, IT, Financial Projects and Corporate Real Estate Management carry out their activities in the new headquarters.
The offices surface, around 5,500 square meters, fit out with state of the art equipments, is used by approximately 400 of Petrom’s employees.
Petrom’s Marketing division remains at J.W. Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, for the moment.
This change is determined both by the growth of the company as well as by the management desire to secure better work conditions for the employees, to improve the professional and interpersonal relations, but, what’s more important, for a better representation of the largest industrial company in Romania.
