Friday, October 17th, at around 18.30, a fire occurred at the diesel hydrotreater unit in Arpechim. The fire brigade from Arpechim together with the fire brigade from the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations responded immediately and extinguished the fire in a very short time. There were no injuries to personnel during the incident and no significant material damages. The refinery continues to run at planned rates with only minor changes in operations being required.
