OMV Petrom is active on the power market in Romania, both as a power producer and as a supplier. We operate  the Brazi power plant, a 860 MW gas fired powerplant comissioned in 2012.

OMV Petrom SA, Gas & Power, is a licensed power supplier in Romania since 2009.

Our company strategy includes the development of retail market participation by offering solutions for the electricity supply to end clients, in conditions of economic efficiency, security of supply and assuring the risk of price volatility of electricity.
