In Exploration & Production (E&P),OMV Petrom is present in Romania, Bulgaria and Georgia. Our expertise varies from deep onshore and offshore exploration to mature fields and shallow offshore production.

OMV Petrom operates 152 commercial oil and natural gas fields in Romania, among which the Domino and Perican South offshore gas fields from the Neptun Deep block. Our portfolio includes fields producing for decades, but also recently discovered fields. We aim to unlock additional resources by increasing the reserve recovery rate and to realize the full potential of our assets, while focusing on the most profitable barrels. We also aim to expand our Exploration & Production operations in the region, in order to capture synergies with existing operations and to increase our reserves base.
