OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship
We support performance at all levels! Get the opportunity to develop under the guidance of a mentor from our organization! We believe that progress comes from brilliant minds, not just years of experience. Through this program, you can grow academically and professionally, guided by a mentor from OMV Petrom.
The new edition of our scholarship and mentorship program is now open for applications! Are you passionate about the energy sector and eager to discover how you can apply theoretical knowledge in real business contexts and and what your career could look like? Come learn with us, and your performance will be rewarded with a private scholarship.
What the program offers
- Monthly scholarship*: 200 EUR (2nd year), 300 EUR (3rd year), 400 EUR (4th year) | *The scholarship is offered starting from the second semester for newly enrolled students, and throughout the academic year for those continuing the program.
- One-on-one mentoring with OMV Petrom professionals
- Trainings, field visits and networking events
- Access to cutting-edge knowledge in the energy sector
- Involvement in company projects and initiatives
Divisions you can work in
- E&P (Exploration & Production): Oil and gas extraction
- R&M (Refining & Marketing): Crude oil refining and product distribution
- G&P (Gas & Power): Energy production and gas marketing
Eligibility criteria
- You have passed all your exams and achieved a minimum average grade of 7.5 in the last academic year
- You are a future engineer in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of full-time studies in one of the following fields: geology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, chemistry and petrochemistry.
- You have intermediate to advanced English language skills
- You are available to actively participate in mentorship sessions and scheduled events (locations: Bucharest, Ploiesti)
- Motivation for personal and professional development
