With an annual refining capacity of 4.5 MN tons/year of crude oil, Petrobrazi is one of the most important refineries in Romania.
At Petrobrazi, crude oil is processed and transformed into a wide range of high value petroleum products: from gasoline, diesel, LPG, to aviation fuel and other petroleum products. Currently, Petrobrazi functions at the highest environmental and performance standards and can process the entire crude oil production of OMV Petrom in Romania.
The history of Petrobrazi refinery began in 1934 when Creditul Minier refinery was set up, with a refining capacity of 300,000 tons/year.
