Significant event to be reported:

The delay of the hearing appeal in the file no. 47958/3/2005 regarding the annulment of the Decisions no. 2, 3 and 4 of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Petrom S.A., dated November 22, 2005.

The High Court of Cassation& Justice, Commercial Section, has scheduled a new hearing, for September 28, 2007, for hearing the final appeal of Mr. Dan Paul against the commercial decision nr. 543/6.11.2006, due to the fact that the lawyer of the plaintiff handed in to the file an adjournment request for health reason.
According to the commercial decision no. 543 issued on November 6, 2006, the Appeal Court rejected as unfounded the appeal of Mr. Dan Paul Viorel against the decision nr. 1708/11.04.2006, issued by the Bucharest Court of Law, section VI Commercial.
According with the above mentioned decision, has been rejected the request of Mr. Dan Paul Viorel, shareholder of Petrom S.A, whereby the plaintiff requested the annulment of the Decisions no. 2, 3 and 4 of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Petrom S.A., dated November 22, 2005.
