Petrom‘s intention to trade preference rights

As we have already announced, in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders dated November 22, 2005, the Board of Directors will propose the increase of the company’s share capital by issuing new ordinary nominative shares.
During the same meeting, it is intended to submit for approval the trading of the preference rights on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, and the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders will make a decision in this respect.
