Petrom is awarded the most trusted filling stations brand in Romania

• The award "The most trusted brand 2015" was granted based on a survey for Reader’s Digest Romania
• 2015 is the 10th consecutive year that Petrom is awarded this prize

The Petrom filling stations network, operated by OMV Petrom group, the largest oil and gas producer in South-Eastern Europe, was voted the most trusted filling stations brand in Romania, for the 10th year in a row. The distinction was granted within the "Trusted brands 2015" study, based on votes from the readers of Reader’s Digest Romania.

"The fact that, for the 10th consecutive year, the Petrom filling stations network is ranking first in terms of public preferences represents a vote of confidence and acknowledgment for the attachment to this traditional Romanian brand. Such studies are a confirmation of the fact that Petrom succeeds to meet the customers’ requirements, offering high quality fuels at advantageous prices, as well as a wide variety of products and services, in its filling stations", says Adrian Nicolaescu, retail manager in OMV Petrom.

Currently, the Petrom network is the largest in Romania, with 391 filling stations. Distribution activities of OMV Petrom group are conducted through 2 filling station brands: Petrom (391 filling stations in Romania) and OMV (153 filling stations in Romania). Most of them are open 24/7, offering a wide variety of products and services, besides the core activity of fuel distribution.

OMV Petrom group is permanently investing to better answer its customers’ needs. Over the last 10 years, OMV Petrom invested over EUR 2.4 billion in its Refining and Marketing division, more specifically to modernize fuel production and distribution systems, in order to offer fuels at European standards, as well as good quality services.

Another priority is the diversification of products and services offered in Petrom filling stations. The current offer consists of more than 2,000 products (from car accessories, to consumer goods), but also a wide variety of services (car wash, payment of road taxes, package collection for Fan Courier delivery service).
