Petrom inaugurated two more filling stations on the Sun Highway

Petrom, the largest oil and gas producer in South-Eastern Europe inaugurated two more filling stations on the Sun Highway in the second half of September. These function under PETROMV brand and are located at km 111.

The two PETROMV filling stations inaugurated in September offer both fuel supply services and complementary services that include shops, VIVA restaurants, leisure areas and car maintenance services. PETROMV concept was introduced in October 2005 and combines the strengths of a traditional brand – Petrom – with international quality standards.

The total investment for the construction of the two filling stations amounted to approximately EUR 2.7 mn.

Following the tender organized by the National Roads and Highways Company (CNADR), in the year 2008, Petrom S.A. and OMV Romania Mineraloel SRL won the right to build a total of six filling stations on the Sun Highway. The first two filling stations on the Sun Highway were inaugurated in May this year, at km 66 and operate under the Petrom brand.

Petrom Group currently operates a total of 828 filling stations, out of which 562 are in Romania and another 266 abroad.
