The work over and the maintenance activities are very important for the E&P business and
Petromservice is a very important supplier for this kind of activities.

Petrom had discussions with Petromservice’s representatives in order to identify the ways
through which they could restructure their activity so to contribute to the increase of
efficiency in our E&P business.

In the context of the announced intention of Petromservice to divest of this activity, we are
taking into account all alternatives, including a potential acquisition.
