Currently, Petrom and Oltchim carry out negotiations in order to transfer the petrochemicals from Arpechim Piteşti to Oltchim.
As previously announced, petrochemicals is not part of the company’s core business. Petrom is interested in selling the business to a buyer willing to make the necessary investments to grow and develop it.
Petrom intends to complete this transaction as soon as possible provided that Oltchim obtains the necessary funding.
More details related to this possible transaction will be provided once the negotiations will be finalized.
