OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship

We encourage performance at all levels! Through the OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship, 4th edition, 80 students passionate about Energy industry will receive private scholarship for excellent academic results.

Apply for the program, and you could benefit of:

  • Monthly scholarship between November 2022 and June 2023 (200 euro for 2nd year; 300 euro for 3rd year; 400 euro for 4th year)
  • OMV Petrom mentor who will guide you during the scholarship period
  • Involvement in projects that use the latest technologies in the Energy field
  • The possibility to do an internship within the company

If you want to benefit from the OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship, the first step is to check the eligibility criteria below:

You are a 2nd, 3rd or 4th - year student, at one of the following faculties:

  • Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti: Faculty of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry, Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Petroleum and Gas Engineering
  • Polytechnic University of Bucharest: Faculty of Power Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Faculty of Transports, Faculty of Biotechnical Systems Engineering, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science
  • University of Bucharest: Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, Faculty of Chemistry (Biochemistry)
  • University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest: Faculty of Biotechnologies
  • Babeș-Bolyai University: Faculty of Biology și Geology, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
  • Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies: Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics

And you are proud of:

  • Average of minimum 8 for the last year of study
  • Advanced knowledge of English
  • Participation in full-time course

Here is what you need to do:

  • Prepare your CV, intention letter and the academic results certificate for the last year of study and apply until November 21st, 2022.

Looking forward to receive your application as soon as possible. We review the applications as we receive them. If your application will be selected, we will invite you for an interview with OMV Petrom representatives.

If you become the beneficiary of an OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship, find out that you can keep it until the end of your studies.

All you have to do next year is to:

  • 100% rate of passed exams
  • Have average of minimum 8 for the last year of study
  • To remain a student in full-time classes
  • Have a good evaluation from the mentor within OMV Petrom

In the previous edition, 67 students benefited from the OMV Petrom Excellence Scholarship program.
