The energy of OMV Petrom

Every single day we produce and deliver the energy for a better life for millions of Romanians. Essential for the comfort of our lives, the need for mobility or the passion for discovering and traveling, oil, gas and electricity are quite literally the wheels of society. 

OMV Petrom is the largest energy company in SE Europe, operating 193 commercial oil and gas fields, onshore and offshore. Our portfolio includes fields producing for decades, but also recently discovered fields. 

Through our exploration activities, we seek to identify new energy to cover future demand. During the 2005 - 2020 period, OMV Petrom has invested 16 bn euro so that Romanian remains energy independent.
One of Romania’s top employers, OMV Petrom is also the largest taxpayer, with 32.3 bn euro contributed to the State budget between 2005 and 2020.
